  1. Frank Duncan is an awesome man, he has been my father's attorney for the past 5 years. He reminds me of Columbo. He is such a sweet soul. We have never talked to him about his mother, but boy is this man a sharp as a knife. Everyone in that works at the Downtown Los Angeles court knows him and he gets so much respect.

  4. Okay, if he were such a "sweet soul," he would never have left his wife to move back in with his mother and would have believed his wife when she told him his mother was threatening her. He also would never have been part of his mother's defense at trial. He is as much the reason why his first wife ended up murdered as his mother.

He is one of a multitude of men with no spines who let the women in their lives manipulate, control, and destroy and claim no responsibility for the horrific outcomes. He is in his own way as sick and sad as his mother.

    1. You hit the nail right on the head....no truer words have been spoken. He is well living good and thriving finacially, not to mention a 37 year marriage. His first wife has spent the last 55 years in her grave.

    2. He did believe her, that was why he moved back in with his mother! He thought that was the best way to get his mother to leave her alone. Granted, it was the wrong choice, but he's had to live with that all his life. Give the guy a break! He might have been completely sick of her, but would you want to believe your mother was a killer, and could have killed your wife and child?

    3. Seriously people I understand where u are coming from but he is no responsible for what his mother did..only the person that does the evil..Bible says you are not responsible for the evil you take in but the evil you put out..His mother did the wrong not him..it took a big person to forgive..and he did that..people in glass houses should not throw stones..God says that you should forgive..if you are not in his shoes you should not pass judgement..he went through alot and has overcome it..he lost his only mother and has no father..one should think before they speak??

    4. Perhaps not responsible for what she did, but his being a part of her defense team ...or even SPEAKING to her after such a vicious act?? It is an affront to the suffering and death that his poor wife endured. (I heard a coroner speak on a death in this fashion and she said "the suffering is unimaginable the pain as well" she teared up while describing this. That is what many have a problem with.
What if she had been acquitted? He certainly gave his all to ensure that she was. THAT is an affront to the suffering and death that his wife endured!
People have a right to their opinions. He DOES bear some of the guilt....if only "after the fact".

  5. I'm curious what kind of personality his current (and former wives) have. And I'm sure that they were all grateful Elizabeth was long dead! There was no good outcome for Olga and her child but at least Frank went on to have a stable life; Elizabeth would have manipulated her grandchildren the way she manipulated Frank.

Having been an observer of a mother who domineered and manipulated her sons from childhood on (she loathed her daughters in law until they were divorced from her sons; then she became nice towards them!) I do have some amount of empathy for Frank. It's hard for people who haven't grown up in such an suffocating environment to comprehend how difficult it is to extricate yourself from these patterns of behavior.

  6. He is as sad, pathetic, emotionally stunted as his mother and clearly responsible for the deaths of his wife and unborn child! His conscience seems to be clear and thinks mom should have lived a full life and things happened as they should have, just as SICK as his mom!!

  7. And this would be why he doesn't do interviews. Over 50 years ago his Mother died in the gas chamber for murdering his wife and still comments like these? What a mixed up world.

  8. No one knows how this man has had to live with this for so many years, I' m sure he feels remorseful. So his practice is doing well, and he has remarried, well good for him. What was he supposed to do, stop living? Until you have been in a similar situation, how can u judge him? Who are we to judge this man?

  11. Frank didn't even claim Olga's body. She was cremated and her family took the ashes back to Canada. He'd also been warned that his mother was trying to hire people to kill Olga.

    1. He knew? That puts a different light on this story. My heart actually went out to him. But if he knew that's awful. I suppose I can make excuses for him by saying that he had to have some mental inefficiencies because of how his mother treated him and I suppose incest. That's got to mess any mind up.

    2. This is most likely why he wouldn't do interviews. People like you. Seriously im sure you weren't alive or old enough when this happen. Also he didn't know that his mother was hiring ppl to kill his wife and unborn child. He hated what his mother did he didn't see her after ger trial....Didn't even go say bye when they killed her in the gas chamber. He also didnt defend his mother. And from what i know he gave her family her body because one he felt horrible and it was what she would have wanted to be buried in her family plot. Duh...He was used he was raised while his mother sexually abused him and watched her go thru men like she went thru undies. She had 11 marriages and states msy have been more she wasn't sure. Record states 11...he loved olga he wanted his child. He thought giving in to his mother anf pretending to leave her and move in would keep her safe. You all need help. He had lived a long happy safe life thankfully his other wives were safe from his mother. And that's what Olga did she saved him.

  13. PEOPLE. LEAVE THE MAN ALONE
.....HE WAS BLINDED BY HIS MOTHER YEARS PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING...SHE WAS MANIPULATIVE AND HE DIDN'T SEE IT BECAUSE IT WAS HIS MOTHER....HE IS LIVING AND SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE HE DID NOT JUDGE HIS MOTHER EVEN WHEN HE HEARD THE TRUTH FROM HER.....ONLY GOOD THING CAME OUT OF THIS IS THAT HE WAS AND STILL IS ABLE TO LIVE A NORMAL LIFE...SO NEGATIVE PEOPLE LEAVE HIM ALONE PLEASE....YOU THAT JUDGE WILL ALSO BE JUDGED!!!"""! REMEMBER THAT.....

  14. maybe the family asked him for her remains and he gave her to them. maybe it was too much for him to see her and know she was
killed by his mother. only he knows why he gave up her remains

  15. Frank admitted that he’d dated a woman in San Francisco during a business trip while he was married to Olga. He didn’t bother to tell his date that he was married. Apparently Frank couldn’t be faithful even for the six month duration of his marriage to Olga. What was even more surprising was that Frank married again, secretly, during Ma’s trial! If there was one person in the case that was a cipher, it was undoubtedly Frank.

On March 16, 1959, after 4 hours and 51 minutes of deliberation, Ma was found guilty. Moya and Baldonado were found guilty at their trials as well. All three were given the death penalty.

Frank fought for his mother until the end. In fact he wasn’t at her August 8, 1962 execution because he was in San Francisco at the Federal Court arguing her case.

Nuff said. Feel sorry for this slime ball if you want! But he gets nothing from me, NOTHING!

  17. I spoke to him today. 2-26-14. He is a wonderful, pleasant man and I was honored for his courage to continue his life the best way that he can... If some of you were in his shoes, you'd probably kill yourself.... So go get a life instead of judging his. Peace!!!!!!
